Stimulation of social competence
A guide for upbringing and education.
Sight is a crucial element in forging and maintaining social contacts. Many people with a visual impairment have no trouble in making social contacts. Others, however, would like to have more friends or better contacts with their fellow pupils or colleagues. Social skills are an important factor in integrating people with a visual impairment into society.
This cd-rom focuses on the development of social competence, since it is important that it is acquired at an early age. The cd-rom contains suggestions for behavioural guidance and education and offers advice in dealing with problems relating to social competence.
