Communication with visually impaired multi-handicapped children

This book is meant to inspire parents of visually impaired multi-handicapped children in finding ways for communication with their child.

In the daily contact between people, spoken language is a very important means of communication. When you and your child cannot understand each other through speech, other ways have to be found to express yourself and to make your wishes and needs known to each other.
With this book we hope to share with you the ideas of some parents and professionals from different countries. These ideas have been grouped around some general themes.
