About Bartiméus

The blind and visually impaired have the exact same needs as any other human being. They too need food, drink, sleep and companionship. And they too want to live on their own, receive a proper education or land a good job. However, in daily life those with impaired vision can run into certain issues or problems for which they need help or assistance.

Bartiméus aims to improve the quality of life for the blind and visually impaired by providing personal advice, guidance and knowledge. The client remains in total control during the entire process. Having said that: when a client comes to us with a certain question, we make sure that we continue searching until we have found the best possible answer or solution to the problem at hand.

We continually develop new services for people of all ages in the field of education, living accommodations, work and leisure. We have 17 offices, which offer tailor-made support for the client in his or her own environment.
