The work that is carried out by Bartiméus is complicated. Creating jobs for the blind and visually impaired demands knowledge of economical markets and of the opportunities and possibilities that the blind and visually impaired see for themselves.
Bartiméus never works alone: we seek collaborations with local organizations for the blind, donors, knowledge centres and educational institutions. We operate in partnership programs with VIP institutions embedded in local and international structures to ensure long-term impact of our efforts. In these partnerships Bartiméus provides knowledge, networks and support in finding and applying for funding.
